in accordance with Austrian BGBl. 205 from 31. May 06, ZLPV Anlage 1 and JAR-FCL 01015 Anhang 2:

• MFU-membership necessarily
• Valid foreign private pilot license (ICAO) with appropriate Medical Certificate
• JAR FCL 3 medical (class 2) issued by an authorized AUSTRIAN AME (not older than 2 months)
• Certificate about condemnations (not older than 3 months) and trafficpunish (trafficrecord)
• Birth certificate and nationality proof or valid passport
• 2 photos in the size of 3,5 x 4 cm (not older than one year)
• Flightlog (with confirmed flights), minimum 100 hours total flying experience
• Radio operators certificate (AFZ or EFZ) english/german
• Proof of the radiotelephony qualification entered in the foreign pilot licence

Photocopies or copies must be judicial or notarially certified!

• Successful passing of subjects 30 Air Law and 30 Human Performance & Limitations required. (Recommended for candidates aiming for a PPL licence only)

• Attendance of a CPL-IR-ATPL(A)-course. (Recommended for candidates aiming for higher ratings and licences than PPL). The successful passing of an ATPL theoretical exam also qualifies for PPL.

• Examinationflight with one of our flightexaminers (FE) authorized by AUSTRO CONTROL. Studentpilotlicence becomes necessary - but we arrange this for you.

According to our experience, 4-6 hours simulator and 5-10 hours training in the aircraft is needed. The amount of training hours depends largely on the knowledge and experience level of the student.
